SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No, 31,756, dated October 31, 1899.

To all whom it may concern.-

Be it known that 1, CHARLES H. SMITH, of Boston, in the county of Suifolk and State of Massachusetts, have invented and produced 5 a certain new and original Design for an Ironing Board, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawing, forming a part thereof.

This invention relates to a new and origi- [o nal design for ironing-boards; and it consists :0 much longer radius than the curve at the other end, the curves of the smaller end be ing connected with the curves of the larger end by inward curves.

The leading feature of my design consists of a flat-surfaced ironing-board having substantially vertical edges and having one end larger than the other, one side of the larger end conforming approximately to one side and the two ends of an oval, the smaller end conforming approximately to one end and parts of the two sides of another oval, the sides of the smaller end connecting with the larger end by inward curves.
