Be it known that I, \VARREN P. FREEMAN, n citizen of the United St'fites, and n resident of New York, in the eonnty of New York and State of New York, have invented and prodneed n. certain new and useful Design for liield-Mngnet Iframes, of which the following is n specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, forming part of the saine, in which Figure l is :i side elevation of my newlydesigned field-magnet frame, and Fig. 2 is a rear elevation thereof.

The body of the frame I have designed is upon the outer surface substantially for the greater part of its length in the form of the outer surface of a cylinder divided into two equal sections by slots in the sides running from end to end. Toward the rear end I curve lthe faces toward the axis of the cylinder. Foradistanee from the forward end the frame is hollow, and near the rear end there is a. Cross-piece extending from the inner side of one section of the cylinder to the opposing inner side of the other section of the cylindrical part, the lines of said cross-piece being well within the side lines of the cylindrical parts and also within the lines bounding the front and rear ends of the artiele,the front line of thecross-pieee being between the two ends of the magnet.

The main features nre the Cylinder-like body with oppositely-loeated openings rnnning lengthwise thereof, a hollow extending inward from the forward end and partially bounded by the opposing partiel cylinderlike sections, and a cross-piece within the exterior lines of the cylinder-like sections extending from the inner side of one section of the cylindrical part to the inner side of the opposing section of the cylindrical part, its frontline located well beck of the forward end of the article and reaching from about the rear end of the forward hollow part well toward the rear end of the frame.
