TO ALL WHOM IT MAY CGNGERN:
Be it known that I, HENRY M. MYERS, of the city and county' of Allegheny, in the State of Pennsylvania, have originated and designed a new Design for a -'.Irade-lillark for axes, embracing the configuration of the coloring and letters, of which the following is a full, clear, and exact description, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, making part of this specification.
In the accompanying drawings- Figure 1 represents the right-hand side of an ordinary axe provided with my improved design for a trademark.
Figure 2 represents the left-hand side of the same.
After the axe has been ground, bu'ed, and completely nished, I paint a part of the axe, as represented in the accompanying drawings. After the paint becomes dry, I attach, by any known means, a label of the form, and provided with the letters, configurations, and finish, clearly described and shown in the accompanying drawin s.
Hagving thus fully and clearly described my design for a trademark, what I claim as of my invention, and desire te secure by Letters Patent, is-
The design for a trade-mark, embracing the configuration of the coloring and label of an axe, substantially as herein shown and described.
