To all whom it may concern.-

Be it known that 1, JAMES HENRY Booms, a citizenv of the United States, residing at Sumpter, in the parish of Lin'coln and State of 5 Louisiana, have invented 'a certain new and useful Design for a Fence-Post; and I do declare the following to be a, full, clear, and exnot description of the invention, such as will enable others skilled in the art to which inap- 1o pertains to make and use the some, reference being had to the accompanying drawings,

which form a pan; of this specification.

Figure 1 is a perspective view of a fence post, showing my new and original design.

As shown in the drawings, the leading 01* material feature of my design consists of a rectangular body portion provided upon one of its sides with a longitudinal slot or depression, within which groove or depression are 20 shown openings or holes extending through the post. The iowerend of the post is shown as out sway to form a point; and the post at its upper end is shown as provided with an ornamental design consisting of a pyramid separated from the body portion of the post 'by a. horizontal groove.
