DESIGN FOR A CHECKREIN-HOLD ER.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 30,536, dated April 11, 1899.

To all whom, it may concern! Be it known that I, ALBERT HENRY HUG- GINS, a citizen of the United States, residing at Olintomin the county of Rock and State of Wisconsin, have invented and produced a new and original Design for Oheckrein- Holders, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, forming a part thereof.
I have illustrated my invention in the accompanying drawings, in whichlhave shown' at Figure 1 a side view, and at Fig. 2 a rear perspective view, of my new design.
In the views the same part is designated by the same reference-letters.
The shank A of the hook is substantially square in cross-section, and the base B, as shown, is substantially rectangular in shape, being slightly beveled at its rear end I). The upper edges of the base are rounded,.and a groove or recess 1) is disposed in its rear face, as shown in Fig. 2.
The body Oof the hook is disposed and arranged as shown in the drawings and projects from the front of the base in a curved line resembling in appearance the'well-known gooseneck curve. The bodyis substantially circular in cross-section and decreases in its diameter as it projects to its extremity.
The gravity-latch D is substantially circular in cross-section and has the largerounded head 61 disposed at its upper end, as shown,
