DESIGN FOB. A FIGURE.
-Be it known that we, CARL MLLER. and JOHN DEACON, of the city, county, and State of New York, have invented n. new and ornamental Design for a. Figure; and we do herebyr declare that the following is n full, clear, and exact description thereof, which will enable those skilled in the art to make and use the snme, reference being had to the accompanying drawing, forming a. part of this specification, in which the figure is represented by n perspective view.
This invention relates to n design for :i gure, said figure being n base-ball pitcher in the :1ct of pitching n bnlhholding the same in his right hand. The pitcher is bent forward, resting his left hand on his knee, which is also bent. His shirt-i`ront is thrown open, and his sleeve on his right arm is rolled up. On his waist he wears e belt, his pantnloons being tied around his ankle, and wearing base-bull shoes on his feet.
What we claim es new, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, for the term of three and a halfyenrs, is- The design for u figure, as herein shown and described. Signed, this 23d day of March, 1868.
