To all whom it may concern.-
Be it known that I, ALFRED J. SHIPLEY, a citizen of the United States, residing at Waterbury, in the county of New Haven and State of Connecticut, have invented and produced a new and original Design for Trousers Fastening-Bars, of which the following is a full, clear, and exact description.
This invention relates to that form of garment-clasps known in the trade as trousers hooks and bars, the samebeing made in pairs and each pair comprising a hook and a bar.
The present invention consists of a design for the bar of a trousers hook and bar.
In the accompanying drawings, forming part of this specification, and in the two figures of which like parts are similarly designated, Figure 1 is a perspective view of the bar, and Fig. 2 is a half-section and elevation thereof.
As shown in the drawings, the leading or material feature of my design consists of the rounded hollow protuberances o arranged at opposite ends of the bar I); and my design as a whole comprises a bar for a trousers hook and bar having the protuberances arranged substantially as shown and described.
