PATENT OFFICE.
FREDERICK SAGER, OF ROCHESTER, NEW YORK.
DESIGN FOR A GARMENT-HANGER.
SYEOII-ICATION forming part of Design No. 30,231, dated February 21, 1899.
Application filed January 28,1899- Serial No. 703,741. Term of patent 7 years.
To all whom it may concern.-
Be it known that I, FREDERICK SAGER, a citizen of the United States, and a resident of Rochester, in the county of Monroe and State of New York, have invented and prodnceda certain new and original Design for a Garment-Hanger,of which the following is a specifioation.
The drawing represents a perspective view of a garment-hanger embodying my design.
The design consists in the shape and configuration of the garment hanger herein shown and described.
In the drawing the garment-hanger has at the bottom two straight parallel members a a, which at equal distances from their middle points are bent upwardly at each end at right angles to the parallel portions as shown at a. Adjacent to the bends a the two members diverge in the curves a a and thence continue upwardly in the straight parallel portions a a, merging into the coiled portions (1. Near the upper ends of the coiled portions a the garment-hanger continues in single members, which are bent at a at right angles to the coiled portions, and the two members a a extend straight toward each other and meet at a point substantially halfway between the bends a. Thence the garment-hangercontinuesupwardlyinthe single coiled portion a from which the loops 0, extend in opposite directions, being arranged symmetrically with reference to the same plane as the parts a a and a a. In line with the coiled portions a the garmentrhanger continues upward in the coiled portion a, whence it continues and terminates in the hookshaped portion a'.
What I claim is- The design for a garment-hanger as herein shown and described.
FREDERICK SAGER.
