DESIGN FOR A PORTABLE ELECTRIC LAMP.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 30,206, dated February 14, 1899. Application filed January 18, 1899. Serial No. 702,369. Term of patent 7 years.

Be it known that I, CLINTON E. WHITNEY, a citizen of the United States, residing at New York, in the borough of Manhattan and State of New York, have invented and produced a new and useful Design for Portable Electric Lamps, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawing, forming a part thereof.
The drawing is a perspective view of a portable electric lamp, showing my design.
As shown in the drawing, the leading or material feature of my design consists of a tubular body part B, provided with screweaps (J and (1', and a reflector-R, located on one side and near the center of the body part I L is an electric lamp located within the reflector, and A a rearward extension seen red to the body part 1: substan tially in alinement with the axis of the reflector R, S and S being thumb-screws in the upper cap (1 and in the rearward extension A.
