Be it known that I, HERMAN J. The accompanying drawing represents a design which embodies my invention.
The leading feature of my design consists in an incandescent electric lamp comprising an elongated lower portion, cylindrical in shape, forming a tube, and this tube is provided at its top with an enlarged portion forming a rim. This rim adjoins the lower portion of the lamp-bulb.
The drawing illustrates an incandescent electric lamp, in which A represents the lampbulb; B, the tube-shaped lower portion; C, the rim; D, the conducting-wires, and E the filament, the wires being embedded in insulating material throughout the entire length of the tube B. When made or completed, the lamp-bulb A and the tube-shaped lower portion B form an inseparable whole.
Having thus described my invention, I claim- The design for an incandescent electric lamp, as herein shown and described.
In testimony whereof I have signed my name in the presence of two subscribing witnesses.
