Be it known that I, EMIL G. SABER, a citizen of the United States, and a resident of Brooklyn, in the county of Kings and State of New York, have invented a new and original Design for Carpets and Borders, of which the following is a specilication.

This invention comprises two parts-namely, the design A for a carpet and the design B for a border; and I do hereby declare that the drawing aecompanyin g this specification con- Veys to any one a clear understanding of the same and is su liieient to enable such person to use my invention.

The design A is characterized by rows of oblong figures having downwardly-projecting hook-like extensions.

The design B is characterized by a panel of oblon g figures having downwardly-projecting hooklike extensions, the outer ends of the gures heilig capped with ornamental figures substantially pyralnidal in forni.

What I claim, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is
