DESIGN FOR A LAMP-FIXTURE.

SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 30,084, dated January 31, 1899.

To all whom t may concern.:

De it known that I, LOUIS O. HILLS, acitizen of the United States, residing at W'ashington, in the Districtof Columbia, have invented a certain new and useful Design for a Lamp-Fixture; and I do declare the following to be a full, clear, and exact description of the invention, such as will enable others skilled in the art to which it appertains to make and use the saine, reference being had to the accompanying drawing, and to theletters of reference marked thereon,which forms a part of this specification.

This invention relates to a design for a lamp-iixture the fount of which is substantially cylindrical in shape,with outwardly and upwardly extending tubular portions which have their upper ends inwardly bent and surmounted with a scroll, While on diametrically opposite sides of the fount and underneath the outwardly and upwardly bent portions of the tubings are scroll-pieces.

My lamp-fixture is clearly illustrated in the accompanying drawing, in which I have shown an elevation ofthe same embodying my design.

Reference being had te the drawing by lettor, A designates the fouet, substantially of spherical shape, and about the circumference of the fount is a bead, while on each side of said bead is a plain band C. The upper and lower ends of the fount have the concaved shouldered portions A,while the spaces intervening between said shouldered portions contain scrollwork, as shown. Underneath the elbows formed by the upwardly-extending tubular portions are brackets of scrollwork, and upwardly extending from the inwardlybent ends of said tubular portions are scrolls which are inwardly inclined and support a broken circular ornament having a substantially heart-shaped piece between the broken ends of the circular ornament.

About the lower ends of the tubular extensions are the concaved shoulders K, with the diameters of their inner ends of larger diameters than their outer ends, each of said ends terminating in a bead.

Having thus described my invention, what I claim to be new, and desire to secure byLetters Patent, is-

The design for a lamp-fixture substantially as described and illustrated in the accompanying drawing.
