SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 29,703, dated November 22, 1898.

To a]! whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, FLORENCE F. CONNER, of Cleveland, in the county of Guyahoga and State of Ohio, have invented a. new and origi nal Design for a, Bridle-Bit Side Bar, of which the following is a full, clear, and exact description, reference being had to the accompanying drawing, forming part of this specification, in which the figure is a perspective view of the side bar of the bridle-bitemhodying my new design.
The design consists in a bridle-hit side bar consisting of a cheek orend bar of plate form, having a bit-bar secured within a hole in the same, this cheek having at one side of the bit-bar a hole or opening.
In the drawing, 2 represents the cheek,
and 3 the hither, which extends through a hole therein and is secured by the bend 4.
5 is a hole in the cheek at one side of the 20 bit-bar.
(i is a ring portion of the cheek and 8 n snaifle. The hit-bar is bent at its other end, as shown at T.
I claim' The design for a bridle-bit side bar, substantially as herein shown and described.
