DESIGN FOR A SHIPPING VESSEL.

ie it known that I, GEORGE A. FLAoCUs, a citizen of the United States, residing at Wheeling, in the countyof Ohio and State of West \\'irginia, have invented and produced a new and original Design for Shipping Vessels; and I do hereby declare the following to be a full, clear, and exact description of the same, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, forming a part thereof.
In the accompanying drawings, Figure i is a perspective View of a shipping vessel embodying my design, and Fig. 2 is a vertical longitudinal section through the same.
The leading feature of my design consists of a shipping vessel made approximately in the form of a battle-ship or gnnboat and havin g a removable cover, the cover portion representing the upper portion of the ship and the lower portion representing the hull of the ship.
In the accompanying drawings, A represents the body of the vessel, which is made to represent approximately the outline of the hull of a ship and is provided with a closed bottom e and is open at top, and also on its inner surface near its upper edge with an inwardly-extendin g ledge o'.
The cover B is made oi' a shape to represent approximately the upper portion of a battleship or gnnboat and has two decks I lf, smoke-stacks ZF ZF, ventilators if* if o", a military mast DI, protruding guns if U', and other configurations to make it represent a battleship or gnnboat. The cover is also formed with an outwardly and downwardly extending iiange C, which when the cover is in position on the body of the vessel rests on the ledge a' thereof.
Having now described my invention, what I claim as new, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is-
The design for a shipping vessel, subsiaw tially as herein shown and described.
