DESIGN FOR A SCALE-LEVER.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 29,135, dated August 2, 1898.
Application filed September 20, 1897. Serial No. 652,385. Term of patent 7 years.
To (6 whom it may concern:
Be it known that 1, ORANGE O. OZIAS, of Dayton, Ohio, have invented and produced a new and original Design for Scale-Levers, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, forming a part thereof.
In said drawings, Figure 1 is a plan View of a structure showing my present design. Fig. 2 is an end elevation thereof; and Figs. 3 and 4 are sectional views of the ends of the laterally-projecting arms. These four views are deemed necessary to illustrate my design in detail.
The leading feature of my design consists of a level-A, having curved portions at opposite ends, three laterally-projectin g bearings 13 on opposite sides of said lever, arms 0 and D, projecting at right angles from opposite ends of one' side only of said lever A, said arms 0 and D having rounded ends, and hollow bearings E and F, respectively, in the rounded ends of said arms 0 and D, said l1ollow bearings E and F being at right angles to said bearings B and the rounded ends of said arms 0 and D being parallel with and apart from each other.
What I claim is The design for a scale-lever as shown and described.
