DESIGN FOR A BICYCLE-HOLDER.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 28,228, dated February 1, 1898.
Application filed December 3, 1896. Serial No. 614,367. Term of patent 3% years.
To all whom it Hwy concern.-
Be it known that I, MAGULER BUTLER, a citizen of the United States, and a residentof he city of Rochester, county of Monroe, and otate of New York, have invented and produced a new and original Design for Bicycle- Holders, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the acconipan ying drawings, in which- Figure 1 is a perspective view of one of my holders, and Figs. 2 and 3 are respectively top plan and end views of one of the wire-holders thereof.
The leading features of my design are the general form and appearance thereof and the form and appearance of the wire holder thereof.
Ais the back plate,having the rounded ends a a bent at right angles to the main portion of the back plate, and between the two ends and upon each end a is a wire holder 13, havingarnain portion 17, substantially of T shape,
as shown in Fig. 2, and having curved portions 1) l) on the ends of the cross-bar of the T, and having also a curved portion 1/ on the remaining leg of the T. Onthe main portion 1) of each arm holder 13 is a cylindrical projcc tion b", which passes through a perforation in the end a and bears outside of an end (I, a polygonal piece b Through the curved portions 1) and b and from one of the T- formed pieces B to the other extends a rodformed portion 0, which has a substantially semicircular curve through and around the curved ends Z) 12 the two rod-like portions being parallel and having each a looped por tion 0 connected by the inwardly-curved port-ion c.
\Vhat I claim is- The design for a bicycle-holder, substantially as herein shown and described.
