LOUIS \VOJIDKOlV, OF BROOKLYN, NElV YORK.
DESIGN FOR A TEA-KETTLE.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 27,943, dated December 7, 1 7- Application filed October 20, 1897. Serial No. 655,361. Term of patent 3% years.
To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, LOUIS WoJInKow, a citizen of the United States, residing at Brooklyn, county of Kings, and State of New York, have invented and produced a new and original Design for Tea-Kettles, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, forming part thereof.
Figure l is a side elevation of a teakettle, showing my new design; and Fig. 2 is a plan view of the same.
As shown in the drawings, the leading or material teal urc of my design consists of a series of convexcd npwardly-extending panels formed on the main body of the kettle, while siinilarly-convexed panels are formed on the upper part of the kettle, so as to radiate from the central part.
The body A of the kettle is provided with convcxed panels I), which extend upwardly and radiate from the scalloped base C, while above the lower part of the kettle, at the top thereof, is formed a series of convexed radiating panels (Z, said panels radiating from a scalloped flange or rim E. Above the latter is arranged the dome-shaped eorru gated lid I The larger portion of the body, at the point where it joins the top of the same, is pro vided with a beaded border It. The handle consists of a curved grip I and volute side bars J, which rise from the top of the body of the kettle.
Having described my invention, what I claim as new, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is
The design for a tea-kettle, substantially as herein shown and described.
In testimony that I claim the foregoing as my invention I have signed my name in presence of two subscribing witnesses.
