DESIGN FOR A KEY-FASTENER.

SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 27,362, dated July 13, 1897.

Be it known that I, DEXTER BOOK STE- PHENS, a citizen of the United States, residing at Youngstown, in the county of Mahoning and State of Ohio, have invented a certain new and useful Design for Key-lasteners, of which the following is a specification, refer ence being had therein to the accompanying drawings.

My invention relates to key-fasteners or devices adapted to secure keys in the key-sockels of locks, whereby any tampering or picking of the said look from the outside thereof may be effectually frustrated.

In disclosing fully the design and configuration of my said invention I will make use of the accompanying drawings, in whieh Figure l is a view of my key-fastener, and Fig. 2 is a side view thereof.

1 is the key-fastener, stamped or otherwise made from a fiat plate into the approximate triangular form, and at one end thereof the circular opening 2. At the other end of the said fastener is a projecting lug 3, forming a shoulder -1- of a rectangular form.

Having fully described my invention, I desire to secure and claim- The design for a key-fastener as herein shown and described.
