DESIGN FOR A BOX.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 27,294, dated July 6, 1897.
Application filed March 25, 1897. Serial No. 629,282. Term of patent 14 years.
To a. whom, it may concern:
Be it known that I, CHRISTIAN WILLIAM MEINECKE, a citizen of the United States, residing at Jersey City, in the county of 11ndson and State of New Jersey, have invented and produced a new and original Design for Boxes for N ursing-N ipples, of which the following is a specification.
The design relates to an opentop box for nursing-nipples, said box comprising a flat base with end and side pieces, said side pieces extended part way up the box and said end pieces being extended up the full height of the box and tapered fror the tops of the side pieces to the top point of the box, a partition being extended from the box-base up to said apex or top point.
The design is illustrated in the annexed drawings, in whieh Figure 1 is a perspective view of the box. Fig. 2 is a sectional elevation thereof.
The flat box-base is shown at 1, and from this base rise the end pieces 2 and the side pieces 3 at the front and rear sides of the box. From said base 1 also rises a partition 4 to what may be called the top point or level 5 of the box. The side pieces 3 extend part way up the box to the points or level 6, while the end .pieces 2 extend up the full height of the box to the points 5. These end pieces 2 are tapered from the tops or upper edges of the side pieces at the points 0 to the top points 5 of the box. The partition 4 extends from the base 1 to the apexes 5 of such end pieces 2, leaving the top of the box open.
The design gives a striking and characteristic appearance to the box.
