Cane fabric containing my design has alternate close-woven and opennnesh stri pes A and B, tothe former of which is applied a chain-shaped ligure. Each stripe A is made up of a series of parallel strips a, arranged close together and divided up into short lengths or sections a' by a series of crossstrips 0.2, and each stripe has applied to it a Chain-shaped figure In, running parallel with the strips n. Each stripe Il has a series of pairs of strips (i, which forni enniinnnt ionsol the Cross-strips oh and whieh, with the strips` running at; right, angles to them and the d1'- agonal Strips b', form a Series of polygonal figures Ir'. Each alternate diagonal `strip Il is colored or striped, ns shown.
The leading feature of In design is the alternatelyarranged elose-woven and open- Inesh stripes, the fermer et which each contains a chain-shaped ligure.
