lie it known that I, GUSTAV A. BRAOHHAIP SEN, a subject of the Emperor of Germany, residing at Railway, Union county, in the State of New Jersey, have invented and produced a new and original Design for Music-Box Covers, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, wherein- Figure 1 represents a top view of a cover for music-boxes embodying my design. Fig. 2 is an edge view of the same. Fig. 3 is a transverse sectional view of the same on the line 3 3 of Fig.1.

The essential characteristics of my design consist in a cover for music-boxes having a base with a central opening therein, a cap, and grillework extending between said cap and base.

In the drawings, A represents a base on the tral opening a. Mounted above the base A is a cap B, which has a grille C intervening between it and the base. Said grille preferably consists of ornamental pillars Z7, having openings a between them, so that open passages are provided for sound-waves through the base of the cover and between the grille 0.

Corner ornaments D may be provided at the corners between the base and cap.

I hat I claim is-- The design for music-box covers, having a base, a cap above said base, and grillework intervening between said base and cap, substantially as shown and described.
