DESIGN FOR A HAMMOCK-SUPPORT.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 26,258, dated. November 10, 1896.
Application filed September 16, 1893. Serial No\ 485,725. Tenn of patent 14. years.

Be it known that I, ISAAC 131. PALMER, of Middletown, in the county of Middlesex and State of Connecticut, have invented and prodneed an original Design for IIarn1noek-Snpports, of which the following is a specification,refere11ee being had to the accompanying drawings, forming a part thereof.
Figure l is a View of the support in side ele vat-ion, and Fig. 2 is an end View.
My design relates to a hammock-snpport comprising a ridge-pole and legs at the opposite ends of the ridge-pole for supporting it; and its leading feature consists in the peculiar shape of the ridge-pole and legs, the ridgepole presenting in side elevation an elongated skeleton of diamond shape, and the supportiiiig-legs presenting in. side elevation a gen eral Y shape.
A. represents the ridge-pole as a whole, a a the diverging sides from one vertex of the diamond, and a a the diverging sides from the opposite vertex of the diamond.
l represents a leg as a whole, and b b the diverging parts which prod nee the upper portion of the Y.
\Vhat I claim is- The design for a hammoelesnpport as here in shown and described.
