To all whom it may concern.-

Be it known that I, CHARLES I l. MI'CAULEY, :1 citizen of the United States, residing at; Haliilnorc, in the State of Maryland, have invented and produced a new and original Design for a Bucket or Pail, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawing, forming a p11 rl hereof.

The drawing is a perspective View of a pail or bucket, showing my design.

The bucket is circular, as seen from either end, and of greater diameter at: the top lhun at the bottom The leading feature of my design consists in a pictorial representation of two children playing with lmekelsmnl shovels. One child has the bucket on her arm and her shovel is held so that its edge touches the ground. Theother child holds the shore] over his left shoulder and carries ihc bucket in his right hand, the ill'lll of which hangs :11. full lenglh.

The pictorial design is made up of short disconnected lines, such as are produced in :1 stencil.
