DESIGN FOR A NECKTIE.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 25,658, dated June 23, 1896.
Application filed Marcil 2B, 1896. Serial No. 585,015. Term of' patent 14 years.
To all whom. it moy Poneen-s 15e it known that I, FRANK ALLEN, a eitizen of the United States, residing at New York, in the county and State of New York, have invented and produced a new and original Design forNeekties, of whieh the following is a specification.
This design relates to neekties; and the leadingr feature of the design Consists in a neektie-bow having fields at its end portions provided with longitudinal stripes, asta1tield at one extremity, and a Central iield having stripes extending transversely to the longitudinal stripes of the end fields.
The design is illustrated by the aeeompanlving drawing, in which the figure is a faee view of my design for a neektie-bow.
In the drawing it will be observed that the bow is in the form of a bow-knot, and is provided with end fields l, having longitudinal stripes 1t. One of the end elds is provided at its extremity with a field 3, having stars (i.
A field 2 is arranged eentrally between the ends of the bow and is provided with stripes 5, extending transversely to the longitudinal stripes 4 of the end iields l. The ,Iield L is shown provided with a medallion or pieture 7. The bow is also shown as provided with a band S.
rlhe design provides an ornamental and handsome neektie-bow, whieh presents a distinguishing and eharaeteristie appeal-:iure to the eye.
