To all whom it may concern:

Be it known that I, ARTHUR MIDDLETON ROSE, a citizen of the United States, and a resident of Yonkers, in the county of Vest- 5 chester and State of New York, have invented a new and original Design for Carpets, of which the following is a specification.

My design is intended to be used as a border for carpets; and I do hereby declare that IO the drawing accompanying this specification conveys to any one a clear understanding of the 53/1116 and is suffieient to enable such person to use my invention.

The design is characterized by a central table form surrounded with diverging spirals, leaves and flowers and having connectingfestoons of flowers and leaves.
