Description

Dbl-381. UR 0249929 EX DESIGN.
L. NICHOLS. BRACKET FOB SINKS. No. 24,929. Patented Nov. 26, 1895.
F L l 1' Witnesses UNITED STATES PATENT OFFICE.
LYMAN NICHOLS, 0F TRENTON, NEYV JERSEY.
DESIGN FOR A BRACKET FOR SINKS.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 24,929, dated November 26, 1895.
Application filed October 25, 1895. Serial No. 566,921. Term of patent 7 years.
To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, LYMAN NICHOLS, a citizen of the United States, and a resident of Trenton, New Jersey, have invented and produced a new and original Design for Brackets for Sinks and Plumbers Fixtures, of which the following is a description, referring to the accompanying drawings.
Figure 1 is a side elevation of a bracket embodying my design, and Fig. 2 is a cross-section on the dotted line shown in Fig. 1. These two views are necessary to fullyillustrate the design.
The leading feature of the design consists in the outline and ornamentation of the bracket, which when viewed in side elevation presents the appearance shown in Fig. 1, the extreme edge or contour of the design being raised to form a broad confining-border when seen in front elevation 01' in cross-section, as in Fig. 2. The portion C of the design within this confining border or framing is contained between two parallel planes or surfaces, giving in eifect the thin body portion 0 of the design, surrounded by the confining edge or border B. The two straight sides of this border are considerably heavier and more substantial than the third or curved side. This also is shown in Fig. 2. Above this body portion and surrounding border, as described, is the superposed turned-up or angular -shaped plate D, which is clearly shown in Fig. 1.
Having now fully set forth my new design, what I claim, and desire to secure by these Letters Patent of the United States, is-
The design for a bracket for plumbers fixtures, substantially as set forth.
In testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand, at Trenton, New Jersey, this 2d day of October, A. D. 1895.
LYMAN NICHOLS. In presence of HERBERT LANNING, EDWD. P. KNOWLES.
