DESIGN FOR A HOOK.

SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 24,664, dated September 10, 1895.

A plication filed May 23, 1896. Serial No. 550,445. Term of patent 14 years.

design for a hook; and it consists in the special shape and configuration shown and hereinafter described.

In the drawings, Figure 1 designates a hook in rear perspective. Fig. 2 is a rear elevation. Fig. 3 is a side elevation, and Fig. 4 is a top plan View.

I have shown the design in the manner above indicated for the reason that the characteristic feature is located at the rear end of the hook.

In the drawings, A designates the hook, B the central part, and C the loop. On the upper central face of the forward cross-bar of the loop isa plate D directly at the rear of the part B. This plate has curved sides and top and at its center a curved opening b leading down from thetop of the plate. The part B is cylin drical and the loopsections are fashioned, as shown.

The essential feature of the design is thespe eial shape shown.

Having thus described the iuvention,what I claim as new, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is-

The design for a hook, substantially as here in shown and described.
