DESlGN FOR A MUSTACHE-GUARD.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 26,483, dated January 5, 1897 Application filed November 13,1896. Serial No 612,028. Term of patent years.

Be it known that 1, CHARLES \YELLER, a citizen of the United States, residing at Newark, in the county of Essex and State of New Jersey, have invented and produced a new and original Design for a Mustache-Guard, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, forming a part thereof, in which Figure 1 is a perspective view of a lllllS- tache-guard embodying the features of my design, and Fig. 2 is a transverse central section taken on the line 2 2 of Fig. 1.
The design consists in the approximately oval-shaped body A of the guard, having its opposing side edges transversely curved in an outwardly direction. At the center and at each side of the center of the body the transverse shape is that of a compound curve, as shown in Fig. 3, but at the end of the body the transverse section is in the form of a simple curve. The upper face of the body presents a rear convcxed surface (1, extending from end to end, and a central dished surface (1., the edges whereof are provided with scallops A hook B is located at each end of the body, and these hooks extend upwardly from the body and slightly over its upper face.
