The accompanying drawing represents a top plan view of the head of a button or badge embodying my design.
My design consists, essentially, of a circularshaped button or badge composed of two semicircular divisions of contrasting colors and having upon the face of the button or badge the representation of two American flags, with their staffs arranged in the form of a V, the angle formed by this arrangement of the staffs being at or near the circumference of the head of the button, and being approximately bisected by the line of division between the two contrasting portions, so that one flag will be on either side, and these two flagstaffs are connected by a short chain, as shown in the accompanying drawing.
In the drawing, A and 13 represent the two semicircular divisions of the face of the button or badge, of contrasting colors.
A and B represent the two flags, having staffs a and b, respectively, meeting each other at a b, and 0 represents the chain connecting these staffs.
X indicates the line of division between the two semicircular portions of the face of the button.
The figures of the flags and chain may or may notbe raised, as desired.
