DESIGN FOR A BAIL FOR CARPET-SWEEPERS.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 24,009, dated February 5, 1895.
Application filed January 5, 1895. SerialNo. 533,974. Term of patent 7 years.
To all whom it may concern.-
Be it known that I, LOUIS GOHLKE, a citizen of the United States, residing at Grand Rapids, in the county of Kent and State of Michigan, have invented a certain new and useful Design for Bails; and I do hereby declare the following to be a full, clear, and exact description of the invention, such as will enable others skilled in the art to which it appertains to make and use the same.
This design relates to a bail for carpet sweepers, or other analogous structures and the distinctive features thereof are the oppositely extended and curved arms, having curved ornamentation, in conjunction with a. central handle socket, as more fully illustratedin the aecompanyingdrawings,in which- Figure 1 is a side elevation of a carpet sweeper bail embodying said design; Fig. 2, a
plan view of the same, and Fig. 3 an end elevation of the same.
Like letters refer to like parts in all of the figures.
A represents a central cylindrical socket; B, B, oppositely extended downwardly curved and carved arms; 0, G, oppositely extended and oppositely curved, carved extensions of the same; and D, D, parallel depending arms having rope molded surfaces.
lVhat I claim is The design forabail substantially as herein shown and described.
