DESIGN FOR A SCARF-PIN.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 23,755, dated November 6, 1894.
Application filed October 6,1894. Serial No. 525,168. Term of patent 3 years.
To all whom it may ooncern:
Be it known that I, GEORGE E. GREENE, a citizen of the United States, residing at Providence, in the county of Providence and State of Rhode Island, have invented and produced a new and original Design for Scarf-Pins, of which the following is a specification, referenee being bad to the accompanying drawing, forming a part thereof.
The head or ornamental portion of the scarfpin has the outline, shape and appearanee of a frog, in front view and upright grotesque position, standing upon its hind legs which are sprawled and bent outwardly at a sharp angle and his webbed feet are broadly extended. His head appears thrown far back. His front legs appear as arms, the left one extending outwardly but bent sharply upward and supporting a sailor hat, the right GEORGE E. GREEN E.
