DESIGN FOR A WATC'H-CASE.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 19,589, dated January 21, 1890. Application filed November 5, 1889. Serial No. 329,368. Term of patent 14 yenrl.
To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, THOMAS BENFIELD, a subject of Her Majesty the Queen of Great Britain, and a resident of Newark, in the county of Essex and State of New Jersey, have invented and produced a new and original Design for Watch-Cases, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawing, forming part thereof.
My design consists in a lid or cover of a watch-case having upon its surface a series of stripes or bands of different colors or shades of color.
The leading feature of my design, therefore, may be considered as comprising a circular field in which are a greater or less number of narrow bands of difierent colors or shades of color and parallel with each other, as shown in the drawing forming a part of this specification.
Referring to the drawing, A represents a figure showing any conventional and wellknown design. This figure or representation, however, is no part of my present invention.
B represents aband passing across the field of the cover.
G represents another band contrasting in color or shade with that represented by while D represents still another band or stripe contrasting in color or shade of color with those represented by B and C.
What I claim is- The design for a watch-case herein shown and described.
