DESIGN FOR A CANTEEN.

SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 19,050, dated April 16, 1889.

Application filed January 5, 1889. Serial No. 295,568. Term of patent 3% years.

Be it knownthat I, CHARLES LEDIG, a. citizen of the United States, residing in the city and county of Philadelphia, State of Pennsylvania,have invented and produced a new and original Design for a Canteen, of which the fol lowing is a specification, reference being bad to the accompanying drnw ings, forming part thereof.

The leading feature of my design fora cunteen is a shield with a star or stars, n bend inclosing the same,nnd a monogram of interlaced letters within said shield.

In the drawings, in which Figure l represents the obverse and Fig. 2 the reverse, to which reference is made, A designates a canteen having on opposite sides the beads ll (f.

Within the head I; is n monogram 0f fanciful interlaced letters. \Vithin the head 0 is a shield, E, on which is a star, G, and within which is n monogram, l of fanciful interlaced letters.

Having thus described my invention, what I claim as new, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is

A design for a canteen having a shield with n star, a bead inclosing said shield, and a monogram of interlaced letters within the same, as shown and described.
