Be it known that l, LOVETT B. HALE, a citizen of the United States, residing at the city of Buil'alo, in the county of Erie and State of New York, have invented and produced a new and original Design for a Dress-Making` Tool, ot' which the following is a specification, ref crence being` had to the accompanying drawing, forinin` part thereof.

The accompanying drawing is a top plan View of my new design, i'ully illustrating the saine.

The leading feature of my design consists in a crescent-like contour with angular indentations or notches in its edge, the outside or convex edge of which is angular and irregular in its contour, as shown in the drawing, in which- A represents the concave or inside of the crescent, and B the outside or convex edge of the same. c, d, and e represent the angular notches in the side A, and fand g represent the notches in the side B, while the angles in the side B are represented hy the numerals l and 2.

TWhat l claim, therefore, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is

In a design for a dress-making,` tool, a brace crescentdike in contour with angular indentations 0r notches in its edge and with an out side or convex edge which is angular in its contour, presenting right ang-le l, notches j and g, and obtuse angle 2, substantially as shown.
