DESIGN FOR A SIGN-BOX.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 18,372, dated June 5, 1888. Application tiled Aprl 19,1888. Serial No. 211.226. Term of patent 14 years.
To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, GEORGE A. MEYER, a citizen of the United States, and a resident of Brooklyn, in the county of Kings and State of New York, have invented and produced a new and original Design for Sign-Boxes, of which the following is a specification.
My invention is a new and original shape for an illuminated or other sign-box; and it consists in a box having one side thereof vertical and the other side inclined from topto bottom toward the opposite side thereof and both ends partly vertical and partly inclined diag' onallyin a corresponding direction to said inclined side.
The accompanying drawing represents a perspective view of a box containing my dem [1.
Similar letters of reference indicate corresponding parts.
The letters A B indicate two sides of the box, and C C D D two ends thereof. The side Ais vertical, while the side B is inclined from top to bottom toward the side A, and the portions 0 C of the ends are likewise inclined from top to bottom toward the side A, said inclination of the ends being diagonal or in two directions, one incline being at the top of the box from side B to side Aand the other incline being at the terminals of side B from top to bottom of the box, the portions D D of the ends adjacent to the side A being vertical.
I claim- The design for a sign-box as herein shown and described, consisting of a box having a vertical side and a side inclined from top to bottom toward said vertical side and having two of its ends partly vertical and partly inclined diagonally in a corresponding direction to said inclined side of the box.
