Description

DOCUMENT NUMBER ll59l 5 UNITED STATES PATENT OEEICE.
ABRAHAM l?. RINDSKOPF AND HENRY P. RINDSKOPF, OF BROOKLYN, NEW YORK.
DESIGN FOR A GARMENT-SUPPORTER.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 18,205, dated March 27 1888.
Application filed January 25, 1888. Serial No. 261,922.
To all whom it may concern.-
Be it known that we, ABRAHAM P. Bruns- Korr and HENRY P. RINDsKorE, both of Brooklyn, in the county of Kings and State of New York, have invented and produced a new and original Design for the Clip of a Garment- Supporter, of which the following is a specification.
Reference is to be had to the accompanying drawing, forming a part of this specification, in which the ligure is a plan view of our newlydesigned garmentsupporter.
The leading feature of our design consists of a circular edgejoining at one portion thereof two converging edges, which meet, forming a V, the space of which joins a circular space.
a represents the circular edge, which terminates at rounded corners b b. The corners b b merge gradually each into a diagonal line or edge, c c. The two edges face each other and converge together, forming a V, which opens into the circular space compassed by the circular edge a. The outer edge of the supporter, surrounding the circular edge a, forms an el- Tcrin of patent 7 years.
lipse, cl, the side edges of which merge into the diagonal or converging lines or edges e e,which are parallel with the converging edges e c. The edges or lines e e merge into the curved end or edgef at the tip or bottom of the supporter. The curves or circles a d are not concentric and are farthest apart at the head or top of the supporter, and between the upper oval, d', of the ellipse d and the circular edge @opposite the V appear the two parallel lines i t', joined by short end lines, t, as shown clearly in the accompanying drawing.
W'e claim* The design for the clip of a garment-supporter herein shown and described, the same consisting of the ellipse d, circlef, and the converging lines e e, joining the circle f with the ellipse.
ABRAHAM P. RINDSKOPF. HENRY P. RINDSKOPF.
