HENRY BERRY, OF HUNTING-TON, ASSIGNOR TO THE DERBY SILVER COM- PANY, OF BIRMINGHAM, CONNECTICUT.
DESIGN FOR A CARD-RECEIVER.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 17,073, dated January 25, 1887.
Serial No. 221,021.

To aZZ whom it may concern-.-
Be it known that I, HENRY BERRY, a citizen of the United States, residing at Huntington, in the county of Fairfield and State of Connecticut, have invented and produced a new and original Design for Card-Receivers; and I do declare the following to be a full, clear, and exact description of the same, reference being bad to the accompanying drawings, forming a part thereof.
Figurel of the drawings is a side view of my newly-designed card-receiver, and Fig. 2 is a plan view thereof.
Bis a plate mounted on a stand or base. This plate is of rectangular contour, having its three visible corners bent down, as shown, and its entire rim ornamented with the representation of a rope.
A is the handle, arranged above one of the corners of the plate. From opposite sides of this handle are represented, in a spread manner, the wings of an eagle.
Across the middle of the face of the plate is represented a bar of music, which is partly inelosed by a spray of flowers.
I claiu1 The design fora card-receiver herein shown and described, the same consisting of a plate of rectangular contour, having its edge representing a rope and its three visible corners turned down, a handle 011 one corner, and a spread wing on each side of the handle, substantially as specified.
