Be it; known that l, 'FnEnnmvn MANKICY, of \Villiamsport, Lycoming county, Pennsylvania, haveinvent'ed and produced a new and 1 original Design for Panels, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the, accompanying photographs, forming part thereot.
Figure 1 isa plan view of my design. Fig. 2 is a longitudinal section of the design with elevations I) ll F (l, and is here presented to show the contour of said elevations.
My design relates to an ornamental panel for doors, wainscois, furniture, and it consists in an ornamental figure, A, such as here shown, within the raised rectangular frame ll. The frame B has curved or rounded edges 0. 1), E, F, and G are series of elongated elevations, each Series occupying about one quarter of the panel and placed diagonally thereon in directions parallel to the sides of the central frame 1 The upper sides of the elevations .l) 1*] F (l are rounded. as indicated on Fig. 2, and hetween said elevations are spaces or channels F.
The precise central tignre A here shown is not material to my design, as I may vary the same and employ any other suitable ornamental device.
