To all whom, it may concern:
Be it known that I, FREDERICK MANKEY, o Lycoming county, Pennsylvania, have invented and produced a new and original Design for Panels, of which the following is a specification.
Figurel represents my new design, and Fig. 2 a modification thereof.
Similar letters of reference indicate like parts.
My design consists in the four raised parallelograms A B (I D and the square elevation E, with intermediate channels or intervals. The square elevation E has beveled orinclined sides and occupies the center of the design. The raised parallelograms A B 0 D have each a side parallel to a side of the elevation E, and are disposed relatively at right angles to one another. Between the elevation E and the parnllelograms A B O D arechannelsFGH I.
The channels F G H I appear respectively prolonged to extend between the parallelograms A B O D. A difi'erent grain-marking may appear upon the inclined edges J of the several elevations, which edges extend transversely the panel from that which appears upon the inclined edges K of said elevations, which edges extend laterally the panel.
Fig. 2 represents a modification of my aforesaid design, wherein, in place of showing beveled edges upon the several edges of the ele vations, I show stepped edges, more than two steps appearing upon each edge. The upper surface of the elevations is fiat.
I claiin 1. The design for a panel, substantially as is herein shown and described, which consists in the raised parallelograms A B C D, the rectangular elevation E, and the intermediate channels, F G H I.
2. The design for a panel, substantially as herein shown and described, which consists in the raised parallelograms A B O D and the rectangular elevation E, said parallelograms and elevation having inclined sides or edges and the intermediate channels, F G H I, a. different grain-marking appearing upon the inclined edges J from that which appears on inclined edges K.
3. The design for a panel, substantially as herein shown and described, which consists in the raised parallelograms A B 0 D, the root angular elevations E, the sides or edges J K of said parallelograms and elevations appear ing stepped with more than two steps, and the intermediate channels, F G H I.
