Letters Patent for a Design No. 111, dated October 8, 1861.

SPECIFICATION.

TO ALL WHOM IT MAY CONCERN:

Be it known, that I, S. H. Samoa, of Philadelphia, county of' Philadelphia, State of Pennsylvania, have invented or produced a new and original design for an Egg Cylinder Stove; and I do hereby declare the accompanying drawing, with the following explanation ofthe same, to form a full, clear, and exact description of the said design. g

Onreference to the accompanying drawing, which forms a part of this specilication- Fig. 1 represents the stove in perspective; and

Fig. 2, the top plate of the stove, partly in section, and drawn to an enlarged scale.

A, the base plate of the stove, and forming the ash-pitdoor for the same, is edged with the scrolled and foliated ornaments represented in tig. 1.

B is the base of the cylinder, furnished with a series of projecting ornaments, and on this base reste the egg-shaped cylinder U, having a series of tintes, this cylinder being surrounded at the part where it is largest in diameter with an ornamented ring D.

Above the iluted cylinder C is a plain cylindcnE, having the ornamental door frame and door G plainly represented in the drawing.

The cylinder E is surmounted with the cap F, the form and ornamentation of which will be best observed on referring to the enlarged view, iig. 2.

I claim the ornamental figures and forms represented in and by the accompanying drawing, the whole forming an ornamental design for an egg cylinder stove.
