DESIGN FOR A PITCHER.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 14,526, dated December 25, 1683.
Application filed Nu'cmber 7, 1888. Term of patent Tyears.
T0v all whom it may concern:
Be it known that we, HENRY BERRY and KEYES A. HATHAWAY, citizens of the United States, residing at Birmingham, in the county of New Haven and State of Connecticut, have invented certain new and useful Improvements in Table-"Ware; and we do declare the following to be a full, clear, and exact description of" the invention, such as will enable others skilled in the art to which it appertains to make and use the same, reference being had to the accompanying drawing, and to letters or figures of reference marked thereon, which form a part of this specification.
The figure of the drawing is arepresentation of a perspective view of a Water-pitcher.
This design has relation to articles for tableware; and it consists of a surface decoration or ornamentation representing alligator-skin.
The drawing represents a water-pitcher. 20
The body a of the pitcher is ornamented on its surface with a conventional imitation of alligator-skin, which constitutes the essential feature of the design.
What we claim and desire to secure is- The design for apitcher having the surface decoration or ornamentation representing alligator-skin, substantially as shown and described.
