DESIGN FOR A BOTTLE-COASTER.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 14,437, dated November20, 1883.
Application filed October I, 1883. Term of patent 3'.) years.
To all whom it may concern.-
Be, it known that I, FRANK B. WVILsoN, a citizen of the United States, residing in the city, county, and State of New York, haveinvented and produced a new and original Design for Bottle-Coasters, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, forming a part thereof.
Figure 1 is a plan View of my newly-designed bottle-coaster, and Fig. '2 is a side elevation thereof.
Like letters of reference, wherever they occur, indicate corresponding parts in both figures.
The leading features of my design consist of the circular flaring base, the top consisting of an open-work wreath of bunches of grapes and grape-leaves, as shown.
A is the body of the coaster, circular in form, and having flaring sides.
B is the stamped or cast top, secured to the edge of base A.
0 represents bunches of grapes, and D grape-leaves, alternately located in the top, as represented in the figures. The spaces between the leaves and bunches of grapes are left open, the inner edge of the wreath turning gracefully over, leaving an opening, E.
I claim-- 1. The design Iora bottle-coaster herein shown and described. the same consisting of the circular base A and open-work top 13, substantially as set forth.
2. The design for a bottle-coaster herein shown and described, the same consisting of the circular base A and top B, wherein are formed bunches of grapes G, and leaves D, forming an open work wreath extending around the top of the base, as set forth.
