To all whom it may concern Be it known that I, WARREN W. Figure 1 is a perspective view of two of my newly-designed ornamental chain Jinks secured together to form a chain. Fig.2 is a view of one link. Fig. 3 is a perspective view of two of my newly-designed ornamental chainlinks, showing a modification of the design. Fig. 4 is a view of one of the links. Fig. 5 is modified form of link.
The leading feature of my design consists in surrounding two, three, or more loops by a sleeve or band either at one end or in the center of the loops, and spreading the other end, or, when the sleeve or band is in the center, both ends apart, to form fan-shaped links.
In the drawings, a a are the loops; b is a sleeve or band surrounding the loops and holdin g the same close together. In the drawings the bands are shown as placed on one end of the link, the other end having the loops spread apart by inserting the rings a a between the loops; but the band b may be placed in the 0 1. The design for an ornamental chain here- 40 in shown and described, the same consisting of links in which two or more loops are surrounded by a sleeve or band, the loops being close together at the band and spread apart radially and connected together by rings to 45 form a chain, as described.
