The design of this crunilypan consists of o. shell-shaped bottoni part, a., having numerous eon'ugntions radiating or divergiug from the back portion andincreasingr in depth and width toward the front edge, and the general shape of su'ch bottom is elliplieal and dishing, similar to a scallop-shell. The upper part, b,of the crumbpan is of o. soinewhat similar shape to the lower part, only it is not as wide as tbe lower part, so as only to cover the back part of such crumb-pan. The said upper-part has a. curved front edge, andthe back edges of the parts a and b are arcs of circles, and united so as' to give the general ornamental appearance of scallop-shells placed together, but with the upper one cut od upon a curved line about the middle ofthe shell, and with a. thumb-hole at (l, from which the corrugations diverge. The edges `where the sheet metal comes together arecorded in appearance. This design is very neat andrtistic. The surface is to be furtln r ornnmented by paint, lacquer, or bronze.
Figure l in thedrawingrs isa plan vien', and Fig. 2 is a section at the line :c x.
