DESIGN FOR A PRINTED FABRIC.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 13,355, dated October 24, 1882.
Application filed September 26, 1882.
To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, JOHN GLEN, of Brooklyn, Kings county, in the State of New York, have invented a new and original Design for Printed Fabrics; and I do hereby declare that the following specification, taken in connection with the accompanying illustration, forming a part of the same, is a full, clear, and exact description thereof.
My design relates particularly to printed fabrics known as calieoes, although itis equally applicable to silks, woolens, and other fabrics, either printed or woven.
It consists in the representation of flowering vines, as will hereinafter appear.

The fabric may be produced in any preferred variety or combination of colors ior giving a desirable effect to the design.
\Vhat I claim, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is
1. The design for printed and other fabrics, consisting of a vine bearing flowers B, U, D, and E, substantially as set forth.
2. The design for printed and other fabrics, consisting of a vine bearing flowers B C D E, leaves a, and flowers b, substantially as described and shown.
