DESIGN FOR A WATCH-CASE.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 12,774, dated February 21, 1882. Application filed January 1'2, 1882. Term of patent 7 years.
To all whom it may concern Be it known that EUGENE F. MARGOT, of Boston, in the count)T of Suffolk and State of Massachusetts, have originated and produced a new and ornainentalDesign for Wa tch-Gases and Similar Articles, of which the following is a full, clear, and exact description, reference being had to the accompanying photographic illustration, making part of this specication.
A represents the back and front sides of the case, which may be left plain or ornaniented, as desired.
The edge ofthe case to which my design is adapted consists of theinain central bead,orna niented as shown, or with any design adapted thereto as heretofore employed. At eaoh side ot' this central bead is formed a plain narrow band or at surface, T, and joined by a narrow right-angle plain surface, S, and then adjoining which is formed a pearl bead, E, adjoining a very narrow plain iiat band or surface, P, and then a very narrow right-angle surface, N, and connecting with another narrow plain fiat surface, V, then the usual incline or bevels reaching to the back and front of the case, there being two narrow or plain at surfaces T, and two narrow right-angle surfaces, S, and two pearl beads,R, and two very narrow right-angle surfaces, N, and two narrow plain flat surfaces, V, all being arranged in the relative positions shownv in the photographic illustrations, the whole forming a design for the edge ofa watchcase.
I claim- The design for the edge of a watch-case, consisting ot' the two narrow plain flat surfaces T T, the two right-angle plain surfaces S S, the two pearl beads E E, the two plain fiat surfaces P l), the two right-angle surfaces N N, and the two plain Hat surfaces V V, arranged at each side ot' the main central bead, as herein shown and described.
