Description

UESIGN.
A. WUNDER.
Fire-Set Holder.
N0. 6,243. e Patented Nov.5,1872.
STTEs NITE ADOLPH wUNnEn, or NEW HAVEN, CONNECTICUT, ASSIGNOR TO SARGENT & C0, or SAME PLACE.
DESIGN FOR A FIRE-SET HOLDER.
Specification forming part of Design No. 6,243, dated November 5, 1872.
To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, ADOLPH WUNDER, of New Haven, in the county of New Haven and State of Connecticut, have invented a new De sign for a Fire-Set Holder; and I do hereby declare the following, when taken in connec tion with the accompanying drawing and the letters of reference marked thereon, to be a full, clear, and exact description of the same, and. which said drawing constitutes part of this specification, and represents, in
Figure 1, a front view; Fig.2, a top View of the pan; and in Fig.3, a top View of the arms.
This invention relates to a design for a fireset holder; and consists in the peculiar coir figuration and ornamentation of the parts, as shown in the accompanying illustration and as hereinafter described.
The pan is of the form seen in Fig. 2, the central portion sunk to form the pan, and the border ornamented by tracery, in relief, upon a matted or other surface, as seen in Fig. 2.
From one edge of this pan the post rises, and is of the form and ornamentation as seen in Fig. 1, the tracery like that upon the pan being in relief, upon a flat surface. From this post project arms, of the form and ornamentation seen in Fig. 3.
As each of these parts is made independent and secured together, either may be used in combination with parts of other designs-as, for instance, different posts and arms may be used with this pan. I therefore do not confine myself to the combination of these parts, as one design; but
Claim as my invention- The design, herein described, for the pan, post, and arms of a fire-set holder, either separately or together.
ADOLPH WUNDER.
