Be it known that l, FREDERICK \VINK, of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, have invented a Design for a Shawl-Pattern, of which the following is a specification:

The figure in the accompanying drawing;- fully represents my design for a shawl-pattern, the main features of which are the wide and narrow stripes A and B.

The central ornament a of the stripe A is ornamented by diamonds, angular ribs, short transverse and straight parallel ribs, all arranged in a manner so clearly shown in the drawing as to require no minute description. The said stripe A is further ornamented by shaded parallel bars or ribs and rows oi dots or dashes, arranged in couples as shown. The
