To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, PAUL RICHTER, a citizen of the United States, residing at and doing business in the city of New York, in the 5 county and State of New York, have invented and produced a new and original Design for Ornamenting `Window Shades or Curtains, of which the following is a. full and clear description, reference being had to the accompanying 1o drawing.
The said drawing consists ot' an elevation of the portieri of the curtain containing my irnproved ornamental device.

zo is a broader band or base-piece, A2, equal in length to the line A, and about five or six times the width ot' the said line or band A. The base or band A2 is ornamented with a longitudinal running scroll or enrichment, af, with two 25 parallel rows of dots, et' and o2, by the sides of and parallel with it.
