To all whom it may concern Be it known that 1', WM. M. Snrrn, ot' Meriden, in the county of New Haven and State of Connecticut, have invented a. new Design for Cotiin-Hzlndle Socket; and I do hereby declare the following, when taken in connection with the accompanying drawing and the letters of refln'ence innrked thereon, to be a full, clear, and exact description of the some, and which said drawing constitutes part of this specification, and represents a thee View.
This invention relates to a design for socket by which to attach the lifting-handle to cottins and like purposes; and the design consists in the configuration as shown in the accompanying illustration.
The socket represents at sash or ribbon as hanging-over the end of the handle-levers A, drooping in the center between the levers, and
hanging down at the outside ateach end. The pivots ot' the levers extend beneath the central portion of the ribbon, as indicated in broken lines; but the construction is no part of the design. The space above the drooped portion in the center is filled with n ilorinted ornamentation, I all as shown in tllHtltOOill1)ilIl ing illustration.
I claim- The design for coilin-hnmlle socket, consisting of the re nesei'itotion of a ribbon hanging over the ln'nnlle-lerers, drooping between them and the ends down upon theoutside, as shOWll in the accompanying illustration.
